FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How many pieces of "artwork" can be stored in each box?
A: The storage box is 7/8" deep and will accept items up to 9" x 12". The number of items that can be stored in each box will vary depending on their thickness and flatness, and how tight the box is packed.
Q: Do I need to display each piece of "artwork" before it is stored?
A: No. The flexibility of kidsArtStor allows you to place items directly into storage without being displayed. Likewise items that are displayed need not be stored. The choice is yours to determine which items will become keepsakes.
Q: Do you need to open and close the storage box each time "artwork" is inserted?
A: No. The storage box tabs fold and tuck out of the way, so the box is always open and ready to receive "artwork".
Q: Is there a way to identify each storage box after they are filled?
A: Yes. Each box is printed with an area where information can be written, ie: the child's name, child's age, box#, start and ending dates, and any special notes. This will allow easy identification in the future.
Q: How is "artwork" held and located?
A: All "artwork" is gently gripped and held in place when the kidsArtStor frame is closed. Paper holders are provided to center 8 1/2 x 11" paper in both the horizontal and vertical positions.
Q: Are 8-1/2x11" and 9x12" paper the only sizes that can be used?
A: No. Non-standard sizes can also be viewed and then stored.
Q: Is there glass or plastic in the frame?
A: No. The frame opening is clear through to the "artwork" and does not contain glass or plastic. Several advantages for this are: there is no glare and no scratched surfaces that can make viewing "artwork" difficult; there is no safety issue regarding broken glass; and with an open frame children can view 3-D art such as "noodle art" in their kidsArtStor.
